execwear LLC is based in Austin, Texas. The company was founded in 2007 with one mission. To create and market an undershirt that could be worn all day without the moisture and wetness that gets trapped in the underarms of the typical cotton undershirt.
Dozens of fabrics were tested for durability, comfort, and moisture wicking properties. Through extensive research we choose a nylon/spandex blend.
It is important to note that most moisture wicking shirts on the market today are made with a polyester/spandex blend. While polyester is inexpensive relative to nylon, we found nylon to be a superior fabric with regard to durability and comfort. Polyester fabric breaks down over time and exhibits a "pilling" effect. (those little balls of material that extrude from the fabric).
Nylon on the other hand resists pilling creating a smooth as silk feel. We believe, based on these characteristics, we have created an undershirt that is superior in every aspect to any undershirt currently available.
